Do you ever have those moments where you feel like you’re in a dream? Where you wish you could just make time stand still?

Did you know that I offer complimentary engagement sessions in all of my wedding collections? Wanna know why? I believe that it’s SO important to get to know & connect with your photographer. If you think about it, you’re basically paying someone to be your own personal paparazzi & stalk you the entire day. If you don’t feel comfortable with your “stalker” (aka photographer), it could make for some annoying & uncomfortable situations.

Joy. Excitement. Anticipation. These are the elements I love so much about maternity sessions. I can only image the overwhelming emotions parents must experience during this time.

Nicole & Meir wanted a bohemian, desert, earthy vibe for their engagement session. They loved the idea of strong, rock formations, so we decided on a magic hour session at Vasquez Rocks.

When I arrived at Michael & Sherissa’s home, Vander was just waking up from his nap & his older brother Declan was still asleep.  Vander is such a sweet, calm & content baby.  And his older brother Declan is a huge ray of sunshine.  He’s got the most amazing blonde hair & the cutest, most enthusiastic & infectious smile you’ve ever seen.

I seriously can’t get enough of this wedding!  I fell in love with Keith & Michelle the moment I met them.  I remember calling my boyfriend as I left our meeting raving about how great they were.

What can I say … this newborn session stole my heart.  Baby Taylor was welcomed into the sweetest family, a beautiful home (filled with TONS of gorgeous natural light … my absolute FAVE), & the cutest big brother a little girl could ask for.
