The Vision
Ted and Jolie love vibrant colors and wanted their engagement photos to have plenty of variety when it came to backdrops. After brainstorming several potential location options, Westlake Village Inn was the winner and served as the perfect backdrop for their colorful Spring engagement session. From the vibrant bougainvillea to the to the lush green archway. From the whimsical olive branches to the beautiful stone architecture the variety was endless and I felt so inspired photographing this sweet couple at this stunning property.
The Details
Can we talk about this bouquet for a second?! The size, the shape, the texture, the color! Jolie’s sister is an incredibly talented florist, (you can check out her beautiful work here), so she created this epic bouquet for her sister to have for her colorful spring engagement session. Bouquets are one of my favorite props for an engagement session and the way these colors popped just brings the images to life. If only we all had such talented and creative sisters …
Last, but certainly not least, if you need a little sip of liquid courage before your session begins, or a delicious post-shoot dinner spot, Stonehaus wine bar is on-site and their waiters are ready to pour you a glass as soon as your session is complete!
