Jonathan & Sierra’s wedding day was like a dream.  When I met Sierra for our initial consultation, she began to describe what she was envisioning for her wedding day & immediately I was hooked.  Sierra has a great personality … she’s passionate, kind & outgoing.  Anytime she would mention Jonathan she would get this incredible sparkle in her eye.

As a photographer I always stress the importance of documenting life.  I emphasize the value of capturing the fleeting moments that memories are made of.  Yet somehow it’s so easy for me to get caught behind the lens rather than in front of it.

Personality, interaction, movement & light.  In my opinion, these are 4 key components of a successful shoot.  I don’t just want to create beautiful images … I long to create images that emote.

This Valentine’s Day I wanted to focus on the real, genuine, authentic, not-always-easy love. The type of love that requires sacrifice, compassion, understanding & communication.  The truest, most vulnerable, honest to the core kind of love.

Matt & Katey’s vision for their wedding day was to create a classic country ambiance. Their outdoor ceremony took place under a beautiful canopy of trees & a delicate floral archway which added to the intimate feel. Vintage lace, antique china & multiple candles created a warm, welcoming barn reception for their guests. Matt & Katey’s wedding day ended with a stunning sparkler exit into an amazing vintage car which swept them away to their honeymoon.

That light … that hair … that smile … those eyes … I could literally go on forever.  Chloe’s session was an absolute dream.  She’s fun, sweet, personable, extremely photogenic (CLEARLY), & was so natural in front of the camera.

Some weddings hold an extra special place in your heart & for me, Cole & Abigail’s wedding was absolutely one of those weddings.  I’ve known Abigail since before she was born.  Her Dad was my youth pastor growing up & I remember when they made the announcement that they were pregnant with Abigail!

I’m so excited to share my most recent engagement session with you today!  I’ve met & photographed Stephanie previously, so I was thrilled when I found out she was engaged & looking for a photographer.

Get ready for cuteness overload!!  My clients are not only incredibly attractive & stylish, but they also made an amazingly adorable little redheaded boy who has the BEST most contagious smile.
