Recent work throughout Southern California and a bit of personal life in between
We all know the feeling. It’s been forever since you’ve had professional photos taken. You’re WAY overdue when you realize that you don’t even recognize the people in the most recent photos you have. FINALLY convince your husband that it’ll be worth the investment & that “it’ll be fun” (‘cause let’s be real … NO husband EVER looks forward to photo shoot day, am I right?!)
Since you know it will probably be awhile until your next photo session, you feel extra pressure for everyone to look their best. That’s where I come in. Today I’m giving you my top 3 posing tips to help you achieve the most flattering photos that you’ll all love for years to come.
We’ve all heard the term “shit happens”. And sadly for Jen & Eric, ALL of the “shit” happened on their wedding day. I was SO excited to photograph their Calamigos Ranch wedding. However, as fate would have it, for the first time in my life, I came down with an incredibly severe (& almost life-threatening as my doctor’s put it) case of pneumonia which caused me to be hospitalized for a month. The month of Jen & Eric’s wedding.
Jonathan & Sierra’s wedding day was like a dream. When I met Sierra for our initial consultation, she began to describe what she was envisioning for her wedding day & immediately I was hooked. Sierra has a great personality … she’s passionate, kind & outgoing. Anytime she would mention Jonathan she would get this incredible sparkle in her eye.
From the delicate details, to the fleeting moments, to the candid expressions, my number one priority as your wedding photographer is to create imagery that takes you right back to how you felt in that exact moment.
Through intentional composition, I strive to zero in on the moments you likely didn’t even notice. Memories are so much more than details … they’re feelings. With every click of my shutter, I want to bring your vision to life while allowing you to be deeply present.
