The Details

What I love most about weddings is the energy.  There’s so much excitement & anticipation in the air that you can almost taste it.  This beautiful summer wedding in Carlsbad was the perfect start to Taylor & Saif’s life together as husband & wife. 

The Location

This was my first time shooting at Leo Carrillo Ranch, but I had heard great things about this venue from fellow photographers & couldn’t wait to see it for myself.  This spot is a gem & truly didn’t disappoint.  It’s somehow spacious yet intimate with some rustic charm mixed in.  The light here was absolutely gorgeous & there was a great cohesion of architecture & nature.  Just note that if you’re terrified of birds like I am, there are peacocks who roam the venue.
