**BIASED AUNTIE ALERT** I’m pretty obsessed with this session. Not only because my niece & nephew are ridiculously adorable & photogenic but because we had so much fun making memories in while freezing & playing in the snow. My favorite aspect of photography is capturing the raw, candid emotion & the joy & laughter of kids in the snow provided plenty of those moments.
Since my sister & brother-in-law are only about an hour away from Big Bear, we decided to take a little drive up to the mountains so that this California family’s Christmas card could actually look “wintery”. There had been a storm a week prior to our shoot so there was the perfect amount of snow for some snowball fun. And since it was Miles’ first snow experience it was endless amounts of fun & constant remiders NOT to throw snowballs at Auntie’s camera.
