Elegant Garden Wedding Venue, Descanso Gardens

Descanso Gardens has always held a special place in my heart. My Nana, a passionate gardener, instilled in me a love for these beautiful grounds during my childhood visits. Now, I carry on this tradition with my family, sharing the magic with my niece and nephew. So, when the opportunity arose to photograph a wedding at this elegant garden wedding venue that I cherished, I was overjoyed.

This wedding, captured by the talented Alicia Danielle Photography, surpassed even my highest expectations. From Julia’s breathtaking lace Ellis Bridal gown from Mary Me Bridal, complemented by a stunning cathedral veil and elegant Badgley Mischka heels, to the flowy blush tulle bridesmaids dresses by Jenny Yoo, every detail was exquisite. The Oak Forrest provided a breathtaking backdrop, and the entire day unfolded seamlessly.

Our journey began at the luxurious Langham Hotel in Pasadena, where Julia and her bridesmaids prepared for the festivities. We then ventured to Descanso Gardens, where Ben and his groomsmen captured memorable moments in the historic Boddy House.
