“After selecting a venue called Hummingbird Nest for our day, my husband and I realized we started to see hummingbirds almost everywhere. They kind of became our thing and we always thought of each other and our big day every time we saw one, so we decided to tactfully include hummingbirds where we could in our wedding design. We had a hummingbird design done at the top of our invitations, and used 3D card stock hummingbirds with custom calligraphy for our escort cards. A few of the guests noticed the subtle theme and fell in love with the idea of having a special nod to the place where we tied the knot consistently throughout our day. And now, we remember our wedding day every time we see a hummingbird!” This personal touch, inspired by the venue itself, added a unique and meaningful element to their celebration.

 

 

A Day Under the California Sun

“We kept our entire day outdoors to enjoy Southern California’s beautiful November weather and designed a beautiful custom pergola for our outdoor ceremony with our rental company. We filled it with floral pieces from our florists and draped it all in flowing white chiffon. Then, we created our alfresco reception with twinkle lights, long tuscan tables, and dramatic candlelight.” These outdoor elements, combined with the venue’s natural beauty, created a truly magical and unforgettable setting.
