Some wedding locations are beautiful.
Others feel deeply personal.
For Keara and Henry, their Cache Estate wedding was about much more than choosing a beautiful venue. Palm Springs had long been a place filled with memories, traditions, and the people they love most, making it the perfect setting for a celebration centered around connection, family, and unforgettable experiences.
Long before they exchanged vows at Cache Estate, Palm Springs had become woven into their story. It was where family gathered. Where mornings started with poolside espressos and afternoons were spent shopping, relaxing in the desert sun, or passionately debating March Madness brackets. It was a place that represented everything they valued most: good food, meaningful connection, and quality time together.
When it came time to choose where they would celebrate their wedding, the decision felt obvious.
They wanted to bring their favorite people to one of their favorite places.
And that’s exactly what they did.
As a Southern California wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of documenting hundreds of celebrations everywhere from Palm Springs to San Luis Obispo. So when I say that Cache Estate is one of my favorite wedding venues, I truly mean it. Private estate weddings have always held a special place in my heart, not only because of their beauty and intimacy, but because my husband and I were married at a private estate in Palm Springs, making every celebration like this feel just a little more personal.

Palm Springs has become one of California’s most sought-after wedding destinations—and weddings like Keara and Henry’s make it easy to understand why.
Unlike a traditional one-day wedding celebration, Palm Springs naturally encourages guests to slow down and settle in for the weekend. Friends reconnect over cocktails by the pool. Families linger a little longer over breakfast. Conversations continue late into the evening beneath the desert sky.
For Keara and Henry, that experience mattered just as much as the wedding itself.
More than stunning design or luxury details, they wanted memories.
They wanted their guests to feel comfortable.
To feel relaxed.
To feel fully present.
Most importantly, they wanted everyone they loved gathered together in one place.
The result was a wedding weekend that felt intentional, elevated, and deeply personal all at once.
As a wedding photographer, Cache Estate is one of those venues I’m always excited to return to. Beyond the incredible desert light, which becomes especially magical as the sun begins to dip behind the mountains, the property offers so much variety throughout the wedding day. The clean, modern architecture is beautifully balanced by lush landscaping, creating a backdrop that feels both elevated and inviting. From quiet garden paths and mountain views to thoughtfully designed gathering spaces, every corner of the estate offers something unique while still feeling cohesive.
One of the things I love most about Cache Estate is how effortlessly it lends itself to a full wedding weekend. With plentiful on-site accommodations and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, guests can truly settle in and enjoy time together without ever feeling rushed. As someone who believes the most meaningful celebrations happen when people can slow down and simply be present, I love how intimate and personal the estate feels. Whether the celebration unfolds beneath the desert sky or moves indoors, every space is equally beautiful, giving couples peace of mind knowing their wedding will be stunning no matter what the desert weather has in store.

Keara and Henry’s story technically begins in Beaverton, Oregon.
They attended Jesuit High School together, where they crossed paths countless times between football games, gym classes, and passing moments in the hallways. While Henry insists every smile and glance was part of a carefully executed master plan, Keara may remember things a little differently.
The funny thing is that despite attending both high school and the University of Oregon together, they never actually dated.
Life simply had other plans.
Years later, when both found themselves back in Oregon during the pandemic, a chance reconnection changed everything.
A backyard gym.
A mutual connection through their brothers.
A simple question about how Keara was doing.
Then a Snapchat message.
A hike to Pittock Mansion.
And the beginning of a relationship that would eventually take them across the country.
Their journey included stops in Pittsburgh, New York City, and Jacksonville, Florida, following Henry’s professional football career. Along the way, they built a life filled with adventure, travel, family, and an impressive amount of pickleball.
Today, they’re each other’s biggest supporters, favorite travel companions, and occasional competitors on the pickleball court.

The vision for their wedding was simple:
Quiet luxury.
Keara and Henry wanted the wedding to feel elevated without becoming overly formal. Sophisticated without feeling stuffy.
A celebration where guests could dress in black tie attire while still feeling completely comfortable letting loose on the dance floor.
The design reflected that balance beautifully.
A refined color palette of black, oatmeal, slate blue, silver, and white complemented Cache Estate’s modern architecture and desert surroundings. Every detail felt intentional while allowing the natural beauty of the property to remain the focal point.
The result was timeless, understated, and effortlessly stylish.
Exactly the kind of wedding Palm Springs does best.

When asked what they hoped to remember most from their wedding day, Keara and Henry’s answers were refreshingly simple.
The party.
The people.
The energy.
Not specific décor pieces.
>Not elaborate timelines.
>Not perfect execution.
The feeling.
The feeling of looking around and seeing every important person in their lives gathered together.
The feeling of knowing everyone was having a genuinely great time.
The feeling of celebrating one of life’s biggest moments surrounded by the people who helped shape it.
And throughout the day, that feeling was everywhere.
From heartfelt conversations during cocktail hour to packed dance floors later in the evening, every part of the celebration reflected the priorities that mattered most to them.

For couples considering a Palm Springs wedding, Cache Estate offers a unique combination of luxury, privacy, and flexibility.
Unlike a traditional resort setting, Cache Estate feels like a private retreat designed entirely around the wedding experience. The modern architecture, expansive outdoor spaces, and stunning mountain views create a backdrop that feels both elevated and distinctly Palm Springs.
The property allows couples to fully immerse their guests in the destination while creating a wedding weekend that feels highly customized and personal.
For Keara and Henry, it provided the perfect setting for the atmosphere they envisioned: relaxed, luxurious, and centered around connection.

The best weddings aren’t always remembered because of a single moment.
They’re remembered because of how they made people feel.
And that’s what made Keara and Henry’s wedding so special.
The laughter shared between lifelong friends.
The family members gathered around the dinner table.
The dance floor that stayed full.
The conversations that lasted longer than planned.
The feeling of stepping away from everyday life for a weekend and simply being present together.
Palm Springs has always represented those things for Keara and Henry.
This wedding simply gave them the opportunity to share it with everyone they love.
And in the end, that’s exactly what made it unforgettable.
